The 5 Suspected BDO Hackers Arrested by NBI

Tech News

The National Bureau of Investigation last Friday captured 5 suspects behind the new hacking of BDO online records. This was after a capture activity was made to recognize the offenders.

The group was made out of 2 foreign nationals (Nigerians), named Ifesinachi Fountain Anaekwe & Chukwuemeka Peter Nwadi while the three others were Filipinos distinguished as Jherom Anthony Taupa y Diawan, Ronelyn Panaligan, and Clay Revillosa. A witness who recently made exchanges with the gathering gave data to the NBI, prompting the entanglement and capture of the five suspects.

Named the “Imprint Nagoyo” bunch, the captured people didn’t give any assertion with respect to the BDO hack when asked by the media.

November & December last year (2021), around 700 BDO accounts were hacked and cash were moved to a UnionBank account under the name of Mark Nagoyo which incited an examination by the BSP and the NBI. This most recent occurrence is among the greatest in the Philippine financial framework with crypto being the last channel of the assets.
